Metallic taste in mouth??
Question: am 42 years old and not on medication of any sort. I have constant burning in mouth and when I eat i have a metallic taste that lasts for hours. I am in good dental health and have no stomach problems - what is causing this?
Answers: I have suffered from this three times...... twice when i was pregnant due to hormonal changes................and once when i had a problem with my fresh water supply . a pipe had broke under ground and went unnoticed for about six month.the best thing to do is ask for a blood test at your gps and this will tell you of any undetected health issues.Drink bottled water for a day or two or boil your drinking water first and this will tell of any problems with your fresh water supply.sorry i cant be more helpful
You're pregnant
I have had this - I would get your iron levels checked - you could be anaemic. Also, I had this when I was pregnant, so it could be more hormonal.
I've heard that's a sign of a stroke.
See your doctor.
oops this always happened to me when i was pregnant
get doc to check out alimentary canal cos that's where it's coming from.
An metallic taste i your mouth is a common sign of diabetes and you should go see a doctor not a dentist right away
metallic taste in mouth can be a sign of heart disease
go do a pregnacy test. CONGRATULATIONS
It is better to have a check up
metallic taste can be sign of pregnancy
Most commonly, a burning taste in the back of your mouth can be a sign of Acid Reflux. Have you ever had problems with Heartburn ?
Tums, Pepto, or any over the counter acid blocker medication may help. If that does not provide any relief, a trip to an internal medicine doctor, or gastroenterologist may be in order.
I will add that many people have said this happened to them while they were pregnant. Pregnancy can cause acid reflux, and most likely these people don't acid reflux otherwise, so it is associated for them with pregnancy, but it definitely can happen outside of pregnancy.
I suspect that you are unwell or are prone to eating more than your fair share of kiwi fruit. Have you considered removing the wrapper from chocolate bars before consuming them?
could be pregnant...best go see a doctor about this taste I dont think it will be dental......
I had some fillings the other week and a few days later I started to get a metally taste on the inside of my lower teeth on the side where the filling is. I think it's leaking - have you had any new fillings lately?
