I put abit of hydrogen peroxide in my nose (For infection)??
Question: I felt it go into me it burned like hell. Normally it wouldnt do that. Should i carry on doing this? It was a very little amout..
Answers: Go get some saline nasal spray, it will moisten your nasal passages, help heal, and prevent further irritation. Much more soothing than hydrogen peroxide.
i would rather u used saline drops
they can be bought over the counter
Try..... FIRST.... Diluting .... the Hydrogen Peroxide.... WITH 50% WATER!
Then after you do that.... IT WILL NOT BURN .... as much!
Also.... you may use... NEOSPORIN .... or.... POLYSPORIN.... on a ... Q-Tip... and apply it inside your Nose!

don't do that, use neosporien, or however you spell it, and keep your hand out of there. picking it will make it way worse.

I would try something else that is safe for that area. Just go to your local drug store and ask the pharmacist. They can point you in the right direction. Hydrogen Peroxide is a good killer of bacteria, but it will dry out that area very badly, and can possibly make it much worse.
I would not continue if I were you.

Hydrogen peroxide shouldnt be shallowed and by putting it in your nose you are swallening it down your throat..Not a good idea..you can As for home remedies there is a handy little thing called the NETI pot. It looks like a minature watering can. You put warm water and baking soda and salt in it...turn your head sideways open your mouth and breathe ONLY through your mouth while you pour the spout of water through your other nostril. The water goes in one nostril, flushes the sinus and drains out the other nostril. It is pretty gross what can flush out. They now sell these pots with a premix of the baking soda/salt at Walgreens Pharmacies Brand Name SinuCleanse. but if you have a sinus infection you need to go get treated..you can die from one
