Question: I'm 15 16 in march, and when i was 13-14 i was stupid enough not to wear the retainer given to me. At first i think that my overbite was 1.1cm and i got it down to a helpless 9mm. When i look in the mirror i do not think that my overbite is noticeable and my parents agree with me as well but i really want to do something about it before i reach adulthood. Is there anything at all which can bring the bite down even a few millimeters or is the only option jaw surgery?
