Will crest stips help calcium deposits on front teeth??

Question: Hi everyone,

I have 2 calcium deposits on my front teeth which arn't caused by lack of brushing of flossing as i've read, as you get the same deposits under your finger nails.
Because they're really bright white they obviously make my teeth look more yellow.
Would crest strips even this out a bit? I'm not looking for Tom Cruise blinding white teeth but just something that'll bring my teeth up a shade or two.

Thanks.
Answers: There is a prescription produce that is supposed to remineralize these areas and make them look less white. Can't say that I have seen it work.

You can whiten your teeth so that the rest of the tooth will be as white (or nearly so) as the calcium spot and then the spot won't be so noticeable.

Whether the crest white strips or strong enough to do this, you will have to try and see. If after two boxes worth you aren't satisfied, you may want to try stuff that the dds has.

Our office sells 'Tres White'. They are preformed trays with about 16% bleach solution. You get a 10 day supply for $100. Most patients seem to get their teeth evened out with that product.

Good luck!
