Like how bad is wearing a retainer??
Question: Hi! I have to go to the orthodontist. I'm getting my braces off, you know! But I have to wear a retainer, that's going to be really like a total bummer. I'm freaking out; I'm sure! It's like those things that like stick in your mouth they're so gross...you like get saliva all over them. But like, I don't know, it's going to be really cool you know. So you can see my smile, it'll be like really cool. Except that my teeth are like too small?
Answers: just wash it at night and dont throw it out on accident after you eat. haha.
just stick with it for a year... if u stop wearing it you will regret it and braces will have been for nothing. =/
also ask about perminate retainer for the bottom teeth. its great and you wont regret it.
you should wear your retainer however often the dentist tell you t. i didnt wear mine, and my teeth shifted a little, so now theyre not as straight as they could be. plus, its not that bad.. i mean if anything you can take them off if you need to.

retainers aren't that bad, I've had to wear one for 3 months now, and as long as you don't keep them out of your mouth too long, they don't hurt.
