What's a cool retainer color??
Question: is glow in the dark good?
Answers: I had the Essix Retainer. This is a clear or transparent retainer that fits over the entire arch of teeth and can also be produced from a mold. It is similar in appearance to Invisalign trays Try asking your your Orthodontist if he/she has this type, there much easier and more comfortable to wear than Hawley Retainers.
Although most Orthodontists offer the Hawley Retainer, which is made of a metal wire that surrounds the teeth and keeps them in place. It is anchored in a specially-molded, sometimes brightly colored acrylic form that sits in the palate or floor of the mouth.
but, your getting the Hawley Retainer, since it has color. i suggest you should probably just get a normal mouth-colored retainer, as you wont exactly be able to see your retainer to glow in the dark.
i vote skin tone.. keep the retainer low key. no need to be ashamed, but no need to draw attention to it.
