What can you do to get rid of sunburn quickly????
Answers: Hi,
Lavendar (essential) oil & aloe vera is a good combination, also vinegar & (olive) oil. Tylenol works well too (for easing the pain ;)
There is a liquid called Toxoid from Health Watchers System it contains Water, zincboracyl crystals, trace minerals and red cabbage coloring (external use only) I have found this product to be the most effective in healing the burn (my personal experiences). Spray on the affected area every couple hours...
The best thing(my opinion): try not to get burnt - it will only set one up for skin cancer in the long run... Our body and the sun are our friends, but we must try not to abuse either one...
Hope this helps!
Aloe Vera gel
Pat on 100% Aloe Vera Gel bought at your local pharmacy, walmart, or I have even seen it at the dollar store, but ONLY use 100% aloe, the other stuff is JUNK. Creams with aloe in it wont work, only 100% aloe GEL, so dont try to short cut.
if you are already burned ....hello...too late....you can put aloe vera gel on and then moisturize but you are still going peel
aloe vera will help with the irritation and flaking and peeling... but skin is already damaged, it takes time to heal, there really is no speeding it up...
aloe vera
the tried and true vinegar. You can put it in your bath ,but works better if you pour on a soft cloth and lay it on the sunburn. You still might peel but it takes the pain away.
Sunburn has to heal - to help it, soothing aloe vera gel & Tylenol. To decrease the chances of peeling - use head & shoulders or similar dandruf shampoo as a soap.
Good Luck!
