What causes a whooshing sound in my ear??
Question: Started one week ago in one ear. Comes and goes every second or two like a heartbeat.

I have the same thing occasionally if I get my neck turned or if my head is down. It is the blood pulsating in an artery.
If it is going on continuously it could be a starting sign of tinnitus.
