How Do I Know If I Have Shin Splints??
Question: The Out Side of My left Calf Tingles. The Part where you flex your leg and you can see the muscle, thats the part that tingles.
Does that mean I have shin splints?
Answers: Shin splints is more of a generic term used to describe pain at the front of your leg which can be caused by any number of factors (primarily overuse).
From what you have described, your problem is more at the side of your calf muscle and a tingling sensation would indicate vascular problem such as intermittent claudication rather than a soft tissue strain.
I would recommend seeing a GP or podiatrist for further investigation.
All the best!
