Accidently got stabbed by a pencil??
Question: i was walking barefoot on my carpet, and i accidently stepped on a pencil. it went in and i quickly pulled it out. it looks like a deep cut and the very top of the pencil chipped a little bit... what should i do???? i tried to see if i could see any of the graphite, but i couldnt
Answers: Either your leg will fall off, you will loose all of your fingernails and half of your hair, the whites of your eyes will turn purple, and you will have herpes for the rest of your life (all of which will cause anyone you date to run screaming in the other direction, turning you into one of those old people with 37 cats and a house that smells funny), or, you'll be absolutely fine and have nothing to worry about.

when i was young (5/6) i was running with a pencil in my mouth,i fell and the pencil went back my throat.i damaged my voice box and couldn't talk for a few days!!!
u should make sure all the splinters of wood are out of your foot.if there is some granite still under the skin,maybe soak your foot in some warm salty water to soften the skin and then take it out with a tweezers.
You need to see a doc to make sure it's all out.
Check into lead poisoning too.
I don't exactly know what graphite could do to your foot, but it may be a good idea to call a local foot doctor and get some input. Keep a close eye on it and make sure that it doesn't get infected. If it starts to change colors, turn red, or swell, go to the doc asap.
Hurry and cut off your foot before it spreads through your blood stream. There's no time to consult a doctor.
Any type of puncture wound can be serious.A puncture from a pencil can be also. You need to soak and scrub your foot for 15 minutes,with soap & water.Then pour some hydrogen peroxide over the wound,let it bubble,and rinse.Cover with a bandaid,you can use a triple antibiotic cream like Neosporin,and change the bandaid daily.If there is any signs of infection swelling,and redness,and drainage,you need to see your MD.If it's been more than 5 years since you've had a Tetanus booster,you should get one. You also may be left with a tatoo from the lead. Take care. SW RNP
