What is the longest YOU have gone without bathing??
Question: What is the longest period of time that you have not showered or bathed?
The cowboys in the wild west were as cool as hell and they only bathed when passing through a town now and again. And I heard the victorians only bathed once a year.
Answers: About a month. When I was really depressed a few years back. I knew that I stank but just couldn't be bothered to do anything about it. I'm better now and things are back to normal!
72 hours and I felt disgusting!!!! My hair was absolutely slimy and such after wearing a hat for that long!! I will never go that long again--I now have trouble skipping 1 day!!!

As a child in school only got a bath on a sunday night for school and a quick wash in the morning
I was a leader at a 3 day guide camp (no showers) and my hair could have been mistaken for a oil slick

but i was at a festival and it was well worth it!
3 days after my c-section went horribly wrong and I had to stay in bed.
I smelt like a student! Ha
5 days at the Roskilde festival. Managed to get a fungal infection on my back as a result - nice!

I think about 3 days. I do not like to stink, and 3 days was WAY TOO LONG! I like to bathe daily and depending on the days activities I might bathe twice.
3 and a half days because we were camping...there was no bathing facilities...thank god for body wipes....they are a god send
I went about a week once. When I finally washed my hair after so long it looked fabulous. Now, if a special occasion is happening I try to not wash my hair for as long as possible before hand. Also, a lot of soaps age your skin and natural body oils help with wrinkle prevention. Bathing less is also better for the environment. Just make sure you don't stink.
When I was a child we did not have central heating and the house (especially in winter) and it was freezing. We used to have a bath every Friday. But that was the done thing then. Every morning it was just hands, face and a flannel under your arms and private parts, and even that was done quickly because of the cold.
Nowadays I could not imagine not showering daily (at least once a day and in the hot weather twice or even three times!!)
