Good or bad daily using of Multivitamins bought from the Pharmacy??

Question: Please give a cool answer-consider the kind of Mutivitamins good for a very active young Man?
Answers: I am an alternative medicinal therapist and I can tell you right now, that it is not advisable to take a load of vitamins, the reason is because you can overdose on them, having to much of any vitimins can be as bad as not having enough For example: If you are getting all the right amounts of vitamins from your food and then take another lot in the form of multivitamins you are getting a double dose, so find out what you are lacking then replace them. You can go to a special clinic where they do these kinds of tests they are called 'stress clinics'

You probably do not need any. Ask your doctor or check webmd.com and see what they say.

I was taking A thru Z with Lycopene for the heart (Lutien) from Walgreens....

untill.....

trere was a show on TV where it showed piles of undissolved vitamins removed from the sewer plant.

I stopped taking them. I will however take one every so often just to get rid of them.
If you have a good nutritious diet you do not need additive vitamins: a recent survey showed that 99plus percent are purged from, and not used by, your body.
They have vitamins made just for men you just need to look at the drug store to find them. You could take centrum or one-a-day vitamins they are both pretty good. I have been taking centrum for 6 years now. You could ask the pharmacist what would be the best for you because he should know.
best to buy organic ones at whole foods or ask the sales person at gnc which is the best form of the vitamin you should purchase for your needs example -ferrous fumurate is more effective and causes less constipation problems than ferrous sulfate for anemia ,they are both iron vitamins
Most vitamins pass through your system without being absorbed. If a person eats properly, than you don't need to take vitamins. You should see a Dr. to find out if you are deficient in any vitamins before you waste your money on them.
most vitamins available out there are pretty comparable. if u r concern than you should go to a nutritionist to find out what you need. or go to a health food store who usually stock better quality multivitamins. of course prices ranges...
G J Jones is mostly right. Some vitamins you can OD on. Vitamins like A are put in lower doses so if you get what you need from food you will not get too much from the pills. B's, C vitamins will pass through with only the amount you need being absorbed. If you take multivitamins look for ones that are made from foods there are several ones out there Alive is one that I know of off the top of my head. This requires you to take three pills so you should take 1 pill three times a day to allow your body to absorb what it needs.
