Gillette fusion manual??
Question: Is the GILLETTE FUSION MANUAL good for sensitive skin.
Answers: Hi, here is my answer from a similar question it got best answer as well.
the best razor to shave with is an old fashioned cut throat. however I've used both Gillette and Wilkinson sword, Generally Wilkinson sword blades are sharper and last longer, try the quatro 4 blades the Gillette fusion has 5 blades on the front and a single on the back for the difficult to reach places. I generally find that Gillette tends to drag more on the skin causing rash and razor burn. the wilkinsons don't. use warm water to soften up the hairs and use a good gel/soap as well. believe it or not dove creme bars help give an excellent shave. I've worked with gillette and Pfizer(wilkinson) on a professional basis and in blind tests the Wilkinson always beats the Gillette.

if you have sensitive skin then get a soap or gel that is for sensitive skin and remember to shave with the way that the hair grows. wash your face in some nice warm soapy water before you start this will soften up the bristles and open up the pores in your skin. apply the gel/foam/soap or lather and gently shave - after you've finished again wash your face with warm water and pat your skin dry do not rub it dry. then take a soothing after shave lotion or balm and rub it in to your skin. After shave will sting like hell. hope this all helps.
my man has really sensitive skin and loves it.....also try leaving on your shave gel a few minutes before shaving to get it really soft....my man uses bikini zone on his face! i get it for him at cvs and it works great
The Fusion is very good, but with the understanding that the blades need to be fresh. It can be expensive to keep changing blades. In between blade changes, make sure you clean the blades throughly with hot running water and then shake the razor until it is completely dry.
Yes it is. I also use Nivea shave gel. This seems to help with my sensitive skin. Also try a good quality moisturiser after.
I think a big part of what would make it better would be the kind of shave gel/cream you use. While a little on the pricey side, Art of Shaving The Lavender Shaving Cream, is really good for sensitive skin. I think it was even featured in Men's Health one time, not 100% on that. You could probably find it somewhere online.

I use manual shavers, I find the electrical version makes my skin sensitive.
I thought it was a great book. Very easy to read and informative. Gives lots of little known tips on how to leave a longer and healthier life.
Different strokes for different folks. What works for me might not work for you and visa versa. Every face is different, so I would just try both and see what works the best for you.
