I have a gay guy friend and I think hes cool.
Most guys in my class think hes sick..

There is nothing wrong with them except what straight people perceive. They are like any other human being except they prefer the same sex. In general people are afraid of what they do not understand or are ignorant about.
Despite my upbringing I have nothing against gays. I've had many gay friends and every one of them was dear to me. Your straight friends are obviously uneducated about this and aren't willing to get to know this guy.
Gay ppl r cool, I dont get it either. I think if other ppl have probs w them they r just closed minded. All of the nicest ppl I know r gay, they'dd give the shirt off their backs to help u. Alot of ppl also have a thing against this becaus eof religion and the rest who dont are simply prejudice, it's no different than disliking someone because of color or because they r different. I love gay men! They are Gods gift to women! They tend to be big sluts, much more so than straight guys. Women can learn a lot about sex form gay men. I like to party with them because they are very physical and love to dance. You can have fun with them... they like breasts and booty but have no desire for the coochie.
Im fine with homosexual people. People who dont like them are stereotypical and ignorant jerks. If you actually take time to talk to them and befriend them their really nice. I have a friend whos homosexual and hes one of my best friends.

Kids are esp harsh to anything that is different...i'll bet you have seen their harsh reaction toward others who are different in other ways as well. I would politely let them know that in many cases those who are so obviously disgusted by gay people tend to in many cases be gay themselves, and THEY are the ones with the problem...the problem being not being okay with themselves. (maybe you shouldnt say this, but its a theory I have due to experience).. all you can do is be nice to people of all types and hope to spread this ideal of acceptance.
