What gift will i give to my best buddy, now that he is GAY???
Question: i contemplate to attned his birthday next week for the sake of our friendship what will i give him as a gift now that he's gay?
Answers: How about a nice cap and shirt? Spring is coming...
what about a big sloppy kiss!
Offer him a hummer or first crack at your caboose.
What do you mean, what do I get him now that he's Gay??
How long have you known him? Get him what ever you were going to do in the first place. Buy him a gift card for Targets, or whatever store he likes, and let him pick his own gift.
you are a very shallow person.just give him what you were going to give him before just because he is gay doesn't mean he is a different person that you knew it is just his sexual preference is different than yours.
being gay is only part of who he is.......you should not let that 'label' decide upon what gift he should get. Think back to the time before you knew he was gay and think about what gift you would have given him then and let that be your guide. When I give a gift I usually choose something that when the other person picks it up later they will be like 'yah that's a Bastian gift' so it says something about who I am but also shows how much care I have for that person. I have a friend who is gay and we both enjoy photography so I gave him a photograph that I had done as well as a compact flash card for his camera....so those gifts weren't inherently gay and he really appreciated them
Anything. Don't forget, he's still human. Just because he's gay doesn't mean he has to get a gay present. I know that you've just known that he was gay, so think of what you could have gave him before knowing he was gay.. he'll still like it, a gift its a gift right?
Well it shouldn't matter if he's gay or not, it's not like you can catch it and he probably isn't going to hit on you so don't worry.
He is still your friend, and he is the same person he has always been. Just leave it at that, attend his birthday party and by him something he likes and let it go at that.
What is your problem... honestly just because hes gay does not mean he wants a giant black dildo. He is your friend for how ever long you should know what he likes. Being gay does not make him a whole new person.
A diamond ring, get down on one knee and hand him his gift. I'm joking
Your the guy that asked if you should go to his party right? You've known him for a long time and we wouldn't really know what he would want, get him whatever you think he would like.
It's not now he's gay, he's been gay all his life. The exact same gift you'd buy him if you didn't know he was gay...
He is the exact same person as he was before he confided in you.... and you should be honoured that he trusted you...
Hi Twister
Well he's your best buddy. So that is first consideration for what you buy for him.
Anything else has no bearing on what you should get him. You obviously know him well - so get him something you know he would like.
All the best to you both.
Give him whatever you would've given him before you found out he was gay. He didn't suddenly turn into a different person for pity's sake!
Give him the same thing you would have given him if he had not told you he was gay. Contrary to what you stated in your previous question I find your attitude to be quite homophobic.
You give him what an honest and true friend would give. Just think of the times you've grown up together and the things the both of you have experienced in life up to this point.
I find your questions demeaning and rude and this is what destroys the very fabric of humanity. The fact that we, you , me , they, them, us, he, she, tend to categorize people as to what and who they have become or have been and challenge that aspect of a life one tends to LIVE . You silently kill off what is innocent within and bring out and about the worst anyone can be.
Let's say, hypothetically that it's YOU we are talking about. What would you want your friend to give you for your birthday. Try to picture yourself as him and see what he sees and feels. Walk in his shoes for a day and try to get it.
It's not what I want for my birthday, It's what you think I best deserve from any other person I have ever known, loved and grew up with as if he is my brother. So, whatever you give him, will define your future relationship with your FRIEND.
A new beginning or the destruction of a beginning
You know, he was gay before he told you he was gay.
He didnt just suddenly turn gay one night so its not like ohh, now he's gay im gonna buy him a vibrator for his birthday . He is still the same person he was before he told you.. so get him what you would have as if you didnt know any different.
Being gay doesnt mean he has changed at all - are you uncomfortable with him now that he has told you?
Dont let his sexuality get in the way of your friendship. carry on as before
Good Luck
Hope you find something he likes :)
