Tics related to ocd???
Question: Are tics related to OCD?
First of all, I don't even know if this is a tic. This is what happens: I'll be thinking about something really stressful or an OCD obsession and my head will jerk, really quickly, from left to right and back to left. It happens so suddenly and I feel like i cant control it. It happens about 3-4 times a day. Is this a tic? And are tics related to OCD?

ocd tics occur much more frequently. like every few minutes. it could get worse. symptoms of ocd will tend to wax and wane. stress also makes ocd worse.

yes they are i have severe OCD my doc told me and i get ticks at least 9 times every 2 hours it depends how bad the OCD is i know what it is like and strangers look at me funny i even stopped going out for a while but then i thought why should i stay in cos ppl are ignorant to my illness i am human like them i would not judge them if they had an illness
I'm sure they can be...sounds more like tourettes, but it might not be, but to answer your question, I believe that yes they can...
