I'm all alone? Sick of it.. but glad about it??

Question: I'm 15 and I already want to leave this dreched town. My classroom has 10 teens and I'm sick of them too. I just want to GET AWAY! and I have 3 years to go.. so that I can go to the college. WHAT can I do to make time PASS QUICKLY? Oh this is hell..
Answers: find something you like to do and spend as much time as possible doing it. i'm 17 and i'm having my midlife crisis already, i need to get off this island and away from everyone i've ever met and just go somewhere, but like you, i have school to finish. you could also see if your school offers online high school- that is what i'm about to look into, so i can take a full-time job to pass the time better and so i can do my classes on my own time. good luck, and let me know if you find a good solution to our problem.

Been There, Done That! (Only I luckily had a few more classmates to 'entertain me')

I especially had a hard time when my friends, who were mostly a year older than me, were all graduating, and I was only a couple credits shy of being able to graduate with them...a year early for me. I wanted to take some Independent Study courses, but needed my parents permission, and they wouldn't give it to me.

You know what? That last year was the best I ever had! I'm so glad I didn't graduate early.

I got involved in activities, I volunteered a lot, just enjoyed myself. And on top of it, I was able to enroll in a concurrent enrollment program with the local community college. (Many colleges and universities will do the same via independent study for long distance students as well).

Because I was still in high school, the tuition was dirt cheap and I got a great head start on college (without the stress and extra homework of AP classes). And the college classes also gave me HS credit (so if I did need it, it was there).

Talk to a school counselor about the possibility in your area.
learning faster might help. I know it sounds stupid but I went to collage at only 14. no I am not a boff or snob I come off a council estate (gov run housing) I knew the only way out of school and get get there fast was to learn more faster.
