Price Scanner laser may have hit my eye??
Question: The thing is I was at a mall and while I was paying I put my other bags down and while I was leaning down a bit the guy with price scanner lowered it down, and I felt a flash although I didn't look at it directly could this damage my eye? cause the bad thing is I don't have health insurance.
Answers: you are just going to find out the price of your eye
haha i think you'll be okay
as long as you dont have a staring contest with it for hours
I don't think they can do much damage, or they would not be in widespread use! The optical power from a laser barcode scanner is usually way way below the vision damage threshold.
No not a problem. Certainly not at just a flash. You are fine. If you aren't having any symptoms then don't worry about it. And if you are, ask yourself could it be anxiety because you are worried about it. Anyway, it would take quite a bit of time for one of those things to permanently damage your eye. A quick flash couldn't do it.
you're fine. i shoot myself in the eye all the time with my lasergun scanner. purposely.
youll be ok but get health insurance
No, you're cool. Unless your vision starts to go bad.
it probably wont do anything horrible, but you gotta get yourself some health insurance.
