Usage of lubricant drops for 10-12 times a day effects the eyes??
Question: I am sufferening from dry eyes. My doctor adviced me to use lubricant drops titled Systain . I use these drops 10-12 times per day. Am I using too much or it is ok if I use these drops 10-12 times per day? Should I reduce the amount of usage or should I continue using it 10-12 times a day? Note: The more I use, the more I feel better.
Answers: systane free may work better for you, it does me. some of us are sensitive to the preservatives and actually makes us use more than normally would. according to my dr when i asked him about my usage he said it is safe to use as often as needed. i notice right after i use it i get clearer vision. i also use elestat anti allergy drops if you feel itchy or red eyed even with systane ask to sample allergy drops in addition. i use 1 drop a day and makes world of difference. all the drops use different main ingredients also i tried 3 others he gave samples of before i found systane free worked. you may respond to a different brand better.
