What is the best way to take out your contacts??

Question: I heard it's better to move it to the direction away from the nose and then take it out, but i usually just take it out from the center...my mom just told me she heard that it may damage the cornea of the eye if you just take it out from the center. i really have no idea.. but i'm scared.
... i think it's the cornea i'm not sure!

Answers: I have long finger nails, so I usually use my eyelids to nudge them out. I think this works better simply because my nails won't hurt my eyeball that way.

first off, use your thumb and forefinger to sort of prop your eyelid up and open. using the thumb and forefinger of your other hand, lightly grasp the contact. it's sort of like you're going to turn the pages of a book type gesture except you're gently grasping at the contact. make sure you have short nails...
