oh i call em eye boogers...it slides over the pupil and fogs your vision...i grab a q-tip and turn, it pulls it right out without you putting your fingers in your eye risking a cut

Does your eye hurt and sort of feel like an eyelash is in it?
If so you might have an eye ulcer (this literally just happened to me)

If it is excessive I would go to my eye doctor just to make sure nothing was wrong (I went in thinking nothing was wrong just dry eyes and found out if I had waited a week I probably would have gone blind)
