How can I test my own reaction time??
Question: I would like something NOT online or on the computer-if you ANY suggestions,please answer.
Answers: Well, as this is under Optical, I take you want it to be optical based. Basically a lot of reaction times test how quick your eyes register and then send the electrical impulses through your body to a receptor e.g. hand to move. There are loads of tests on the computer you can do, but if you don't want to do it on the computer theres only one that I can really think of. Have someone hold a ruler for you vertically and then put your thumb and hand at the 0cm mark. Then without any signal from the person you are with, have them drop the ruler, and you have to catch it as quick as you can. You then record what measurement you got on the ruler. The average score for people (i.e. whats good) is anything up to 10cm really.
