Will switching to contacts really slow down the rate at which my eyes become near-sighted??
Answers: switching to soft contacts...definitely not.
switching to gas permeables or ortho-k lenses...hotly debated in the eye care profession, and no real proof either way.

I wear soft contact lenses and have for 13 years and my prescription changes yearly. I don't know if it slowed down or not, but I had horrible vision to begin with!
