What's the difference between Acuvue and Acuvue 2??
Question: I'm buying contacts online and was wondering if Acuvue 2 is better than Acuvue, or if it's unique in some way...
Answers: Acuvue 2 were better for me because they were more moist and the contour of the lens fit my eyeball better, but you may be different from me.
One of them has a 2 and one doesn't!
The second one has a '2'.
Acv is a monthly lenses but acv 2 is bi-weekly ones
Acuvue 2 has added UV filters...that the original Acuvue didn't have.
Other than that, they are basically the same lens....but the UV protection is an important upgrade.
The original Acuvue is slowly being removed from the market.
