Is there a place online where i can order contacts??
Question: Without my prescription?? My prescription for Acuvue isn't expired..But the clinic I go to is stupid and won't order Natural Touch by Coopervision for me because they said they have been discontinued (I know they have not, I called, I hate the place I go!!--also, I am planning on switching eye doctors and going to this other one that my dad knows really well (my parents are both doctors), but my app. isnt for another 2 weeks.) I need these contacts ASAP!! But when I ordered from 1800 contacts, they wouldnt let me, because I basically have to have the okay from my doctor to order this new brand of contacts (because I was using acuvue)
Are there any sites on the internet that you can order w/o them having to contact your doctor? After hourrrss of searching I found one over in the UK, but they didnt sell Natural Touch..Any Suggestions?
Answers: This might be hard, as almost all CL prescriptions are for one BRAND of contacts in one size and in one diameter. Internet sellers rarely substitute anything unless your doctor has okay/prescribed it. There is just too much liability.
If you have never worn Natural Touch by Coopervision, I would not order boxes of it until you try them first; and Coopervision is one of those companies that it's easy to get free trials from. I was so excited about ProClear by Coopervision, but after trying them--UGG! Not for me; they did help with dryness, but the clarity was only so-so and they were so thin and flimsy...
You just never know until you try a pair...
I just got my contacts in today. I order mine from VisionDirect.com. I have not had a n Appt. since last year, but since my prescription never really changes, I only go for an actual exam once every 2-3 years. They do ask you what Dr. and when your last visit was. I just put in Wal-Mart, and any date last year. I wear Acuvue 2's. I'm not sure about the brand that you are asking about, but it's worth a try. They are very reasonably priced too. Good Luck!

Natural Touch HAS been discontinue first of all, and NO there arent any places that will sell you anything different than the contacts that were prescribed to you... reason being... its what the doctor fit you with. He/She saw the Acuvues on you, know that they fit well and that the material is a good match for your eye. No online place will fill anything other than Acuvue.. You need to wait till your appointment to be fit into something else.. But mind you.. AGAIN.. Natural Touch has been discontinued. And Im not sure which type of Acuvue you are wearing but in 2009 the regular Acuvues will be discontinued.. they will only have: Acuvue II, Acuvue Advanced, Acuvue Oasys, Acuvue Advanced for Astigmatism, and Acuvue Bifocals.
