Menapause Candy??
Question: One of my co-worker's is having a 50th b-day party and I wanted to get a gag gift of menapause candy. I don't know her that well, but at least it is edible....
Do you think this is offensive???
Answers: Yes. I was given a gag card, and I was blue on my birthday because of my age, and it ruined the rest of my day. I wouldn't give it to her. I got even with her the next year with a card with an old lady and putting out candles with an oven mitt. She is nicer with the cards now. You never know how someone is feeling that day. Any other birthday since this happened wouldn't have bothered me.
