How many of your girls are the "average size" in america??
Question: i was watching the Today show this morning and heard that the average size for a female these days is a size 14. i thought that was pretty cool and made me feel a little better considering i am actually average!!! soo just wondering how many of you knew that or w/e .
Answers: I heard the same thing about the avg size being between 12 and 14 - and it made me feel better too! I usually wear a 13, depending on where I shop, and while I'm not happy about my size, I'm also not depressed about it either.
And my boyfriend seems to like my body just fine ;-)

I think 14 is what they consider average for women over 35 or something like that. But before I got pregnant( now 36 weeks) I was a size 8 and was the biggest of all my friends. So the average size of a young woman in America definitely isn't a 14.
