How uncomfortable is it for you young ladies.........??
Question: My niece was telling her mom that she doesnt understand why some girls are uncomfortable with taken a showers with other females. And that they should appreciate their bodys among themselves. As being young ladies. because its gods gift. Is that true?
Answers: for me, it was never a problem. and i think for many who have played team sports, they had community showers, so you got used to it. but i can understand the hesitation others can have, just because i am comfortable, doesn't mean that others don't think that they are being judged. i agree with your niece, they should appreciate their body's. but different people were brought up different ways, and we need to be sensitive to that, if they were more private people they might be more trepid. but that is ok.

For the record, everyone, male and female, has something about their bodies that they simply don't like.

It may also have something to do with religion, and how they were brought up as children and as people.
Not everyone in either sex is comfortable or uncomfortable with doing something like this.
Because when girls are taking a shower after PE (Same with some guys) other girls can be cruel and make fun of them. I absolutely HATED taking the showers because I was overweight and got picked on. Also, at that age (Junior High) girls are uncomfortable with their bodies because they might have bigger or smaller breasts than some of the other girls.
i personally have a very nice petite body and i love looking at other womens bodies, and i do like to apprieciate them BUT i hate taking showers with other women, i had to do it when i took my neice camping and it just felt weird
How old is your neice? I used to shower with my sister, but that was when we were like 10yrs old or younger. It gets a little weird if she's older than that...
I HAVE NO PROBLEM BEING NAKED AROUND ANYONE.. IF PEOPLE WERE MORE OPEN I WOULD SHOWER AT SCHOOL... IM A SWIMMER AND SOMETIMES WE WOULD SHOWER AT SCHOOL AND I WOULDNT MIND WHO SW ME NAKED OR SO ON...
